Accreditation

Chesterton Academy of Atlanta is accredited through Cognia, the Georgia Independent Schools Association (GISA), and also has provisional accreditation through the Chesterton Schools Network.  Accreditation is a designation that a school meets certain professional academic, administrative, and operational standards to ensure quality educational programs for students.  Accreditation through the Georgia Independent Schools Association also ensures students access to certain state college scholarship programs including the HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships.  Additionally, accreditation through the Georgia Independent Schools Association includes membership in the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA), which allows students to compete in athletic programs with other member schools.
