Chesterton Academy of Atlanta seeks teachers and staff desiring a joyfully Catholic environment, where you can witness to your faith to our students both in and outside the classroom. Teachers must be a practicing Roman Catholic and demonstrate a commitment to Catholic secondary education. Experience in a classical school environment is preferred. Previous experience in secondary school education is also desirable.

The ability and willingness to teach in a variety of disciplines is considered an asset. In addition to teaching responsibilities, staff will have other responsibilities such as disciplining, advising, monitoring, mentoring, and helping to build a unique and joyful culture.  Faculty also participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and to help students grow in holiness. Teachers will be required to attend some events outside the school day (e.g., concerts, plays, meetings) and encouraged to attend other events (e.g., sports). All of this helps to build a solid school culture. Participating in community life is an essential aspect of the staff’s work at Chesterton Academy of Atlanta.

We are currently seeking positions for a full-time math teacher and a full-time humanities teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.  However, please feel free to complete an application below if you have interest in teaching other subjects as well at Chesterton Academy of Atlanta in the future.
